To update your ipod simply plug it into your computer then click on the main tab with the name of your ipod on it and you will see a large update button in the middle of the screen. To download itunes 9 go to http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.php?old_itunes=48 and follow the steps there. If you want the most current version of itunes which is 10.3.1, open itunes and click "help", "check for updates", then simply follow the steps.
Hi,
Are you getting an error code when your instlaling Itunes 9? .. There might be a previously installed Itunes that is conflicting with your installation. You can try using a program called REvo Uninstaller. you can download it from here: revouninstaller dot com.
then uninstall the previous itunes then re install itune 9 again.
Cheers!!!
This is a generic problem with the itunes setup in most computers. Try re-installing the application. If after reinstalling the problem persists then here is a little tip: Itunes 9 is a program that requires a lot of memory space try freeing up your unit to have more space and run less programs when you intend to use the Itunes. If you can afford it try upgrading the RAM of your unit., This will help. Hope this solution has been helpful?
By any chance had you recently upgraded your ITunes to ITunes version 9 or higher? Tune Tools used to work fine for my Ipod Classic 80 gig, but as soon as I upgraded my ITunes to version 9, the Tune Tools 2 stopped working, and I got that exact same java.lang.exception error.
If you have updated to ITunes 9, there isn't anything you can do about it.
Yes you can use ITunes 9 to download to your Sansa.
