I just bought the diesel multipliers and am very disappointed in the quality of the mulitool that is being put out. I have not even used them for anything yet while playing with them I found that the pliers did not retract sometimes, I looked closely and found that one of the main rivets/pins that hold the pliers to the handle was so loose that it would slide out and stop the pliers from retracting back inside because it would hit one of the blades, I would have to turn it over so it would slide back in to be able to retract the main pliers into the handle. I had a leatherman before this and am starting to regret ever buying gerber. Who do I speak with at the gerber company to report this kind of manufacturing defect in their product?
Hello. Your product should still be under warranty, (I believe most multi-tools are lifetime status) and warranty repairs are almost effortless. They have divisions globally, as I am unaware of your location - I am including the link to the North American site for contact information. If a different country is required, the customer service number would be your choice. Sorry I can't be of more assistance, but hopefully this will provide you with a solution. Thank You.

This is the link to the parent company, just in case you need to go higher on the ladder.
