Have you actually checked the pump, normally they are just clogged with fluff and residue, they dont fail that often. Remove the side panel, the side where the drain container is. You will see the pump assembly at the bottom, remove the screw and top cover, then push the clip in to remove the pump unit, after removing the wiring plugs, the pump can be stripped and cleaned, clean the water chamber also which will be clogged. Hopefully it will work fine.

What does E1 mean?

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

Can you possibly double check that model number and reply post. I ask because the "E1" error should only pertain to those models which are condensor (non-vented)... "WTL" dryers.

The error indicates either a blocked drain hose or a failed pump. This from Bosch...

E1 Pump failed

(WTL 5400condensationdryer only) Pump failed.

Check voltage at and wiring to pump.

Turn off dryer, measure pump resistance (110 - 136 ?) and replace faulty pump.

Also - Following items apply only to the WTL (Condensation Electric Dryer) models

Cycle is interrupted and ''E1'' appears in display• Condensate hose is blocked in some way. Turn off dryer and check hose.

I'll watch for your reply and try and help you move forward in any manner I can.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

E 06 means slow or no drain//not a easy do it yourselfer machine//you will need to get to the pump might be plugged//for the do it yourself you can get to the back( but this won't be easy) most techs if they know the machine will take front of that takes pratice//anyhow take rear panal of you will see drain pump in there remove tub to pump hose most likely has some items inside//note some bosch washers have small pump drain hose to get water out before you remove pump hose/if it will drain do that first save alot of mess...........(((( check this first))) note some have round cover at lower bottom put pointy item in hole of cover turn to release ( it will turn hard) some also had cleanout behind that cover/ if so check pump from that location much easier then taking back of.....Hope this helped if it did please vote...if you need more help please ask ...good luck

Bosch Condenser Dryer Classixx

I found this on justanswer.com, I am going to try it this weekend and I will post an update.

"Ok if you remove the left hand side panel then located at the back is the drain pump
remove the hose on it which goes up to the bottle and blow up it to make sure its clear.
If thats fine then remove the pump and clear any fluff thats in there and make sure the impeller is ok and turning fine.
Then refit and try again hopefully this should sort it out.
let me know if you need anymore info."

Bosch dryer warning sounder for container full will not stop

Hi
You need to remove the left side panel, this is the side where the drain container is, once removed you will see the drain pump with two pipes coming from it, remove the pipes and top cover, disconnect the wiring, remove the pump unit with the clip, clean the float unit and pump, also remove the congealed mess in the water trouth as this is what holds the float up and makes the machine think the drain container is full.
I bet you will find this will cure the problems you are having, it did with mine.

Pump fail

wow that is a fancy one. most of them simply have a catch basin you have to dump. Probably lint is topped up the pump. Open the pump clean out and get the gookus out of it.
