The AC adaptor of my Casio Keyboard has reversed polarity from the Standard Power AV adaptor you get in the market. The center is NEGATIVE. When you try to use a new power supply that is NOT a CASIO original, you may need to reverse the polarity of the plug. Check that.

Psr-70, power light is up, but the rest of the lights are off, no sound at all

Hi,

please switch power source of your device and check for any changes. The source that you're using might not be providing enough power to your device. Otherwise, please choose random options on the device to see if there are any changes in the lights. If not, your device might need be taken in for repairs.

Thank you.

While the blue display is working alright, my yamaha i425 suddenly stopped working. Cannot play the keys anymore..The power adaptor is working fine

Either your key scanning section or the power amplifier has fried.
Try playing the demo song, if the sound can be heard then the scanning section is faulty. You may download the servicemanual from Elektrotanya com and repair the keyboard.

Hello everyone, you are my last hope. Here is my story I have a Triton Le bought in Mexico in 2005, it has the American AC/AC power supply cable. I moved to Europe and there I bought a 240V INPUT (9V...

I have been trying to find a schematic, however the damage should be limited in the unit.

Since there is only 9VAC input, we know that it has to go through a rectifier and a filter capacitor and then likely a regulator. I doubt the problem goes beyond the regulator.

The screen light MAY be independent of the logic power in the unit, the LED's will NOT be independent.

The voltage rating of the fuse is NOT a problem.

You likely blew out the rectifiers as a start. They may be individual diodes or a small module with four diodes inside.

The diodes SHOULD have survived but check them with an ohmmeter on the diode range. The Filter cap may be destroyed, and alsothe regulator which is likely a three terminal one like a 7805.

Casiotone MT-220 keyboard power cord

I would inspect the unit for corrosion on battery terminals AND the power connector. The connector has a switch when a cord is plugged in, and if this switch doesn't work (they get bent) the unit will not work on batteries.
Best source of power adapters is often your local thrift store.
MATCH the voltage and whether it is AC or DC required AND the polarity if the pin is + or -.
Get one with enough current.

Older Cr 1604, powers up but no output, suddenly after gig.

The power supply is located in that area on one side. It is possible that one of the output op-amp ICs has failed. There are a number of 4558 ICs used as output buffers for this unit. Without seeing the unit and testing parts of it, I can't say for sure. These are not the easiest to work on as they are really compact. Where are you located? I may be able to suggest a service center in your area. The repair cost should not be too bad. The parts are cheap and readily available. Please update this with your location. Thanks, Dan

Yamaha 88 key piano grand plays wrong pitches w/ changing volume

If it has a sequencer/ recorder built in, you have the ability to change the pitch/ detune by using some key strokes after initiating the program mode. If your not sure how to do that, try unplugging the keyboard for thirty seconds and push the power button while it's unplugged, then plug it back in. Any better? What model is it.
