On the back of the computer where the power plug goes, should be a toggle switch, change it to 120V.

SOURCE: Acer desktop mouse, keyboard not functioning, monitor also not wor

If there is no display on the monitor, then your computer is not sending a video signal to the monitor.
This could be caused by a bad video card or some other hardware problem. I would open the case and disconnect all the devices (hard drive, CD, etc. Leave only the CPU, memory, and video connected. You could leave the keyboard and mouse connected too.
If your computer then starts, you can start to add devices (after turning the computer off) one at a time.
If this doesn't work, then you are looking at replacing the motherboard or just the video card if that is possible.

SOURCE: I have a Cisnet C-28

Read the Cisnet AC adapter. It should say input:120-240V, 50-60Hz to work with 240v power anywhere in the world. You just need an outlet adapter for the country you're in.

SOURCE: new ACER ASX3200/8450 Desktop PC DVD/CD not woking

Hi.
Either the drive is faulty (yes, they fail right from new more often than you would think), or the master slave jumper may not be set correctly on the back of the drive. If the PC came fully assembled, I would take it back and get the tech to check it. If you setup the hardware side of it yourself, check that the jumper is correct for the master/ slave situtation of the drive and make sure the cables are pressed in firmly.

Which step down transformer should I get in order to use the USA dyson dc39 in Aus? Do I need to just get the step down from 240v to 120v or need the isolated 1500w step down?

To use an American Dyson in Australia you need a step up to 240v from the American 120v. Better to but a European machine that is the right voltage already.

Delonghi problems

Mains voltage in Australia is 230V 50Hz. Travellers from most nations in Asia, Africa and Europe should have appliances that work on the same mains voltage as Australia - therefore you will not need a voltage converter. Notable exceptions to this are Japan, USA and Canada which uses 100/120V 50/60Hz.
If your country does not use appliances within the 230V 50Hz mains voltage range, you will need to purchase a voltage converter. This will transform the voltage from the power outlet into one your appliance can use. You will also need a power adapter.

Will my Behringer amp purchased in the USA work in Australia

You will probably need a voltage converter. Unless you purchased the general export model with a switchable voltage power supply, your PMX2000 will have the power supply for the 120V 60 Hz electrical mains and a 10A H fuse. To confirm this, look on the back of the amp.
I wish that I had better news for you.

Recently moved to Australia. Is there anyway I can get my much loved 120V Kitchen Aid food processor rewired for Australian 240V power. Model No: RKFP740 GC Step down transformers are expensive and ugly...

Without step-down transformers you are out of luck. I am sorry. I know the transformers are ugly but they are cheaper than replacing your food processor and espresso machine. One thing you could do is to contact Kitchen Aid and ask them if the motor can be wired for 240V. If not, ask them if you can purchase the 240V motor for your processor and replace it directly. As for the espresso machine, no idea...sorry.

What power supply is needed for hp scanjet 2400

It is depends on your scanner power adapter and where u purchase the scanner from. Here if your scanner is from US then the adapter power input should be 100-120V 60Hz AC, if your scanner is from Euro, UK or Australia, the it should be 200-240V 50Hz AC, while if your scanner is from others place that not listed above then it should be 100-240V 50-60Hz AC.
But the best way is look at your adapter itself, u'll notice the power input and output from the adapter sticker.

If you lost your adapter then be sure to purchase 1 that can output a 12 VDC, 340mA, 4.22W adapter to the scanner.
