I formatted my pc recently so my previous hp driver was deleted. So I installed my hp software from the cd but I always get this error.
Enum error:
-------------------------
The installer cannot access this registry key. Please ensure that the installer
has access to the registry and click Retry to continue
installation.
Registry Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum
Manufacturer: Microsoft
------------------------
So I tried not installing the driver from the cd and manually install it in add printer, and it worked. But the problems is I can't align my cartilage. So everytime I print something, it is distorted. Can someone help me.

Solution 1
Right click on setup file and select run as administrator
Solution 2
Make sure system has Check On Allow Full control and read.
Check all users listed that there are no checks on deny.
You can also press ADD to add your own user, then click advanced, then click find now , select your user, click ok, click ok, give your
user full control and read permission.
Apply and ok. double check that there are no Deny permissions set.
let me know the results and do not rate solution untill we have solved the problem.
Thanks,
Ekse
