Wolf Double Oven

I cooked granola @ 200 degrees in the lower oven for about 5 hours today. Then later used the bakestone in the upper oven to bake pizza.

A couple hours later the oven started beeping and has a F1 code on the display for both ovens.

How can I fix this? Is the oven toast?

Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem with a Wolf L-Series double wall oven (Model DO30) and called for service (under extended warranty contract). The tech told me that the F1 error is a latch problem (you know the one that grabs and locks the door during self-clean cycles). He cleared the error using a series of "secret" button presses on the control panel and the problem cleared. Now, when it happens (which isn't very frequently), I do the same thing he did ... press "0" and "Temperature" for the oven causing the problem and hold them for about 5 seconds. The oven will ding and the display will show some diagnostics, including the error event. Press "Cook Time" and "Stop Time" while in this diagnostic mode to clear the error register, then press "Off". I've also tried to keep the area across the top of the oven opening clean (with a little degreaser), especially around the latch, and I've sprayed a bit of WD-40 into the latch periodically for lubrication and cleaning.

we got the error code F1 and followed your instructions above - afterwards, when we went to turn the oven back on, we cannot get the oven to accept a mode... it just dings and will not choose bake or any other mode. Any suggestions??

I want to use top and bottom ovens but at different temps - how do I do this

To Set a Cook T ime:
1. On double oven models only, press UPPER OVEN or LOWER
OVEN for the one you want to set.
2. Press BAKE or CONVECT UPPER (on some models).
Press the number pads to enter a temperature other than the
one displayed.
3. Press COOK TIME.
4. Press the HR and MIN "up" or "down" arrow pads to enter
the length of time to cook.
5. Press START/ENTER.
The start time and stop time countdown will appear on the
oven display.
On double oven models only, when both upper and lower
ovens are being used at the same time, touch UPPER OVEN
or LOWER OVEN to display the respective cook time.
When the stop time is reached, the oven will shut off
automatically and "End" will appear on the oven display.
If enabled, end-of-cycle tones will sound, then reminder
tones will sound every minute.
Repeat the process by choosing the other option of UPPER or LOWER OVEN

I have a Bosch HBN 455 double oven with the convection oven on top, and a regular oven on bottom. The unit is about 5 yrs old. We recently ran the Self Clean mode, and it seems like it has malfunctioned...

Hi,

Do you see any Error Message on the Display?

If not, then it should not be a Concern. More often this could be Thermal Fuse on the Back of the Unit ( On Most Models ) will stop the Broil and Bake from Turning ON. You would just start a bake cycle and the temperature will sit at 100 and something degrees and never raise.appliance.

Let me know, once you check the same.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

CPS227W Dacor double wall oven from 1995. Problem is common to both upper and lower ovens on any cooking mode (broil, bake, etc). Turn on, set temperature, hear a relay click on, then about 15 seconds...

I have the same problem, however I found that if I just hold the Bake, Broil.ect button in until you hear the relay click then the oven functions normally.
