RCA HDTV MODEL # D52W20 SHUTS OFF AFTER 10 MINUTE.

IT SHUTS OFF AFTER 10 MINUTES. THEN IN YOU UNPLUG IT. OR LET IT SIT FOR A WHILE. IT WILL COME BACK ON FOR 10 MORE MINUTES.

    I have the same problem.  Unit is an RCA r52wm24 with a ITC222 chassis.  Powers on fine, picture is great for about 15 minutes before fading out completely.  This sounds like a fairly easy fix compared to other problems posted for this model.

There is a common power supply problem with these that requires the replacement of four capacitors on the power board. This could be causing your problem.

That sounds like the powersupply is going bad. You may want to unplug unit because it may be a fire hazzard.

RCA D52W20 TV powers on fine, then shuts itself off after 5 - 10 minutes. After 20-30 minutes, I can turn tv back on, but then shuts off again in 5 minutes.
it looks like the problem is in the 16v line..try to take it apart..and there's gonna be a 2200mf cap leaky.
that will solve your problem.
