Micro Sd card not working

I downloaded some games to put on my m3 simply so when i put them on my micro sd card they go but when i put it in my ds and boot it put it doesnt load and it says that im missing the data so i put it back on and its still gone. now my mirco sd card doesnt read on my computer (windows XP) and when i put it in the ds the m3 simply stays at the loading screen HELP PLEASE

Stuck on Loading Screen This usually indicates that the software kernel on the micro sd memory card has become corrupted. It can also happen if the micro sd memory card is overloaded with games, music and video files etc. The solution is to reinstall the kernel software on the micro sd card and ensure the micro sd memory card is not overloaded. Leave about 25% memory free.
download SDformatter and format the sd card with that, place all the files on there, none in folders..

Download the correct software kernel from the manufacturers website
Unzip the files using a suitable programme such as Win Zip or 7 Zip.
Open the folder containing the unzipped files and copy the 4 files (Moonmemo, Moonshl2, R4iMenu and R4.dat) to the root of the memory card.
At this point put the memory card into your R4 card. Start your console and ensure the R4 card is operating correctly.
You may have to run an upgrade file at this point

How to download games onto your r4 ds.

Firstly you need to make sure you have the following:
An R4
A micro sd card which fits into the R4
A micro sd card adapter so you can connect it with the computer
Winrar - you can download a free 4o day trial software (which doesnt actually rin out) http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/3000-2250_4-10007677.html or http://www.win-rar.com/download.html are good sites to download winrar from.

Ok now you have everything i personnaly use romulation which is a free ds game download site. You may find it easier to make an acount to download alot of games. Download your selected game to your desktop. Save the file. Then insert your micro sd card to your computer, open the sd card file through either start>computer>removable disk or autoplay.
The downloaded game should be in winrar format. Open the download, you should be able to see a file named after the game. Open the file, and you will see the game, then simply drag the game over onto your sd card into the folder named "games". The game is bow on your ds R4.

I've recently downloaded some free games for Nintendo DS Lite into a micro SD card - around 8 games in total. However, when I inserted the micro-SD card (through the adopter) into the DS game slot on top...

put the software on the sd card the ds kernal software then goto the removeble drive, open it and create a new folder, call it Games, put all of the games into this folder so it creates a new directory in the menu. Make sure you u use winrar or winzip to extract the files to the folder.

New R4 card wont work !!!!

First make sure you have the correct kernel for the card. Go to the website where you purchased it and download the current firmware. Next copy all of that onto the micro sd card. Build folders in you sd card, very simple right click...new folder... enter... then label them correctly .. Label one movies... music... games.. etc... then put your files into the correct folders.. Another common error is that people use to high of a sd card.... some r4 cards only accept up to a 2gb micro card If you use one that is too big it will stick on the loading screen ... If none of this works reload all the software onto the card and start from scratch... hope this helps

When I put my micro SD card into the R4 card, put it in my ds (original), and turn the power on it detects that I have put the game in but the message "Loading..." stays on the screen - it doesn't actually...

its the software on the micro sd i had the same problem did you get software with it? if not try downloading from r4 website.

Insalling m3 resl deal but cant find DS MENU .dat

apparently m3 dont do upgrades now but this might help http://www.m3-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=312
basically it converts the r4 ds menu.dat to work on m3 simply (may work for m3 real) so now all you have to do is go to r4 download site and download latest version. 1.18 from here http://www.r4dscart.com/r4-software.html (select the english update) then patch ur dat file replace it back to where you took it from before patching and then copy all 4 files ( _system_ moonshi _ds_menu.dat _ds_mshl.nds) into the root of micro sd card. advise you to copy any files/games you have on your mem card then copy the games over to your newly installed firmware. oh by the way in the link i provided on how2 patch the ds_menu.dat it might be bit vague on where you put the ds_menu.dat file to patch it, all you do is drag and drop it into the PATCH app thats inside the "r4 to m3 patcher" folder. post a reply to let me know how you got on

Unable to read DS micro SD card games

Have you installed Moonshell onto the micro-SD card? It has to be there to see the games. If you have Moonshell installed, you should be able to navigate to where you stored your files. Your adapter should have come with a CD with Moonshell on it or you can download a newer version on the internet.
