Good Afternoon Jane - Generally, error code E15 means that the unit is experiencing a power board failure. One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to the appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds. If the error code persists, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.

Testimonial: "My husband did this before but probably did not follow it completely. We did it again and now it's working! Thank you so much! We did call the repair tech but he could not come until July 10th!"

We aren't Electrolux, we are FixYa dot com, and you appear to have fixed it.

Resetting the board would simply involve cutting the power to it. Induction cooktops are a relatively new innovation to the home markets are in general, all Induction cooktops fail due to failing electrical components. I have a 50 year career in catering, and 10 years with induction units. Even the catering quality units with a single hob that cost $1,800 fail in 18 months to 2 years.

Contact Electrolux direct and ask if they can find the failed component and repair the board.

I have a Maytag MIR8890AS induction range and after 10-15 minutes of running either the cleaning cycle or the having the oven at around 400F, it will start beeping every few seconds for a long time. A

new ovens and electronics have error codes programmed in, my new stove does, you need to call an electrician and tell them the exact beeping issue and this will give them an idea on what may be wrong. In the meantime see if the manual it came with has a trouble shooting or error code page, or go to http://www.maytag.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/OCManualsLiteratureSearchResultView?catalogId=10562&langId=-1&storeId=10212

Electrolux e21

Thank you for your post, friend!

I understand that your Electrolux cooktop is flashing an "E21" error code. Based off the information I was able to look up it sounds like a possible issue within the left board. I would suggest seeking assistance from a technician for proper repair because some of these intricate parts do require precision and patience. Therefore when replacing the exchange of electrical components or removing them from your appliance, I always suggest seeking professional assistance. -Matt

How fix blown element on Electrolux induction range?

If it's a year old and under a 5 year warranty then it will be covered under the warranty and shouldn't cost you a dime. If it happens again then speak to someone about getting a different range since you may have received a lemon.
