Easy fix. Unplugged the refrigerator. Remove bottom phillips screw holding the ice maker to the wall of the freezer and loosen the top two. Pop out the ice maker. Where the fill tube goes in to the reservoir, make sure there is no ice built up. I had a chunk clogging mine up causiing water to pour into the ice container and ont the kitchen floor. Works fine now.

Icemaker leaking despite replacement

is the ice maker actually leaking or do you have a crack in the ice bin allowing it to leak from cubes?

JSI-26 icemaker leaking water

You're ice maker is located on the left hand side of the freezer, if I'm correct.
Look to the back of the freezer slightly above the ice maker and you will see what they call the fill tube. Chances are ice has formed inside and when the ice maker goes to fill water sprays instead of flows out. In some models you can take the fill tube out from the back by removing two screws that hold it in, located at the upper right side if your behind it, and some you may have to pull out from inside.

I have a GE Profile refrigerator, Model PFSS6PKWBSS, with icemaker on door. Water is collecting under Deli-draw and leaking down freezer door onto floor. How do I fix leak?

Hi

Try and access the ice dispenser assembly and check from where the water is leaking. You would need to disassemble the ice dispenser and ice maker to check this. The ice dispenser is located in the upper portion of the freezer compartment. This assembly stores ice made by the icemaker and dispenses ice on demand from the door dispenser target switch.
1. Remove the upper ice bucket tray.
2. Slide out the ice dispenser assembly.
3. Remove the ice cube solenoid linkage Phillips head screw and slide the linkage back.
4. Remove the ice crusher cover Phillips head screws (2) and remove the cover.
5. With a pair of pliers, twist off the backing plate tabs located on either side of the crusher.
6. With 2 small flat-blade screwdrivers, unlock the ice crusher locking tabs located at either side of the ice crusher.
7. Lift the ice crusher out of the bucket.
8. Remove the ice crusher back cover.
9. Remove the locking ring from the ice crusher auger.
10. Remove the plastic nut with a pair of pliers by turning it clockwise.
11. Remove the spacers and blades. The blades are numbered for reassembly.

Icemaker--
The icemaker is located in the upper rear of the freezer compartment and supplies ice to the dispenser tub.
1. Disconnect the icemaker cable connector.
2. Remove 1/4-in. icemaker mounting screws and slide out the icemaker.
This refrigerator is equipped with an Electronic Icemaker.

Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Ice maker works but either overflows or leaks into the freezer compartment and ice bin making the cubes freeze together. Valve appears to shut off when cycling, and will turn off and not leak when ice...

hello, my name is Marclavoris, i will fix your appliance for you.....okay understand that when your icemaker is on, it sends voltage to water valve, if the solenoid in water valve do not close it will fill the icemaker with water..So replace your water valve and your problem is solve...thanks

Icemaker leaking

Check two things.

1: see if you have ice buildup in the water inlet tube above ice maker, if you do chance are the water valve is bad, if not,

2: see if you have icicles hanging from bottom of ice maker, if you do you have a bad ice maker.

Either way, will need full model number and serial number both to get you the right part numbers for parts.

Leaking water in icemaker. water from icemaker leaks into freezer and freezes on freezer wall

If you are sure that it's coming from the ice maker I believe that you possibly have a leaking water control valve on the side for the ice maker on the rear of refrigerator near floor there is a dual water valve control. Many times when this happens the water will freeze in the fill tube that fills the ice maker in the rear of freezer. You can defrost the frozen water in the fill tube with a hair dryer but that will not stop the problem from coming back. When that happens water tends to at times go everywhere but the ice maker. You can test the water control valve several ways. By unplugging the side to the ice maker and if water continues to flow slowly to the ice maker then the dual water control valve will need replaced, Sea Breeze

Leaking water on floor only happens when making ice

I wonder if you just notice the noise now because the leak has you more aware? First things first. Lift up the arm on the ice maker (a few hours prior to attempting service) to stop it's operation. You need to roll the unit forward to give you access to the back. You'll see a plastic tube that runs from the bottom compartment (water valve) to the ice maker fill tube. Lower the arm of the ice maker and observe the plastic tube for the location of the leak. The most likely spot would be at the top. A hose clamp can be put on the fill tube after making sure the plastic supply tube is completely inserted into the fill tube. The fill tube is the piece that goes through the rear bulkhead and delivers the water to the icemaker. It may be neccessary to remove the icemaker to thaw out the fill tube using a hair dryer.

Our ge profile is leaking water above the icemaker, help

Sounds like the inlet water valve for the icemaker is not shutting off 100%. That would result in either A.) a block of ice plugging the tube where the water passes through from the outside of the freezer into the freezer compartment, or B.) an ice waterfall in the freezer into the ice bin and/or down the back wall of the freezer compartment.
Solution to either: replace water valve and remove ice with the aid of a hair blower.

Fridge Leaking

the icemaker can overfill causing water to run over into the freezer
the fill cup on the back of the icemaker could be frozen letting the water overflow into the freezer

if the fill cup is not frozen then you need a modlue for the ice maker if it is whirlpool built, if ge or frigidaire design then replace the icemaker
