Hello Hardyjosef,
Below is the beep code chart for the mini 10 systems.
No POST
If the system does not perform a Power-On Self-Test, there are various things to look for:
1.Check that the system has a power light.
2.If the system has no power light, ensure it is plugged into AC power. Remove the battery.
3.If the system has power but is not performing a POST, Check for one of the following Beep code errors.
Beep Code Description Failure Coverage
1 BIOS ROM checksum in progress or failure. BIOS Chip Motherboard Failure or ROM Error
2 No RAM Detected No Memory Detected
3 Chipset Error (North and South Bridge Chipset, DMA/IMR/Timer Error for Intel platform); Chipset Error Motherboard Failure
Time-Of-Day Clock test failure.
Gate A20 Failure
Super I/O Chip Failure
Keyboard Controller Test Failure
4 RAM Read/Write Failure Memory Failure
5 RTC Power Fail. COMS Battery Failure
6 Video BIOS Test Failure Video Card Failure
7 CPU Cache test failure CPU Failure
8 LCD LCD Failure
4.With the power off and the system unplugged, remove all CRUs from the system and reconnect the AC adapter to the system and try again.
Try reseatting the memory to see if that will resolve the issue. If not, the motherboard may be bad and will need to be replaced. If you need another motherboard you can call the Dell Spare Parts Department at 1-877-717-3355 to purchase one.
Thank You,
