How to delete someone from my LG 840g cell phone?

When I hit create new message and type message up its going fine. But when I click send to, a contact or phone number that's on there pops up. I would like to get it deleted. I tried deleted the contact from the contact list but then just a phone number pops up instead. I'm in a relationship that is very possessive right now and I need to have a friend but he won't allow it. How do I get her off of it. Thank you

This problem can be a bit annoying. After deleting a contact in my LG840g a long time ago, the number would still be there as an option when I send text messages. However, after much research it is no longer there, so I'm happy.

What I did after viewing a suggestion from another reviewer for another LG model is basically sent blank text messages to as many inessential numbers in my phone as I could at one time (5 is the max on my LG840g). I sent texts to AT&T, Bud's Gun Shop, Ace Elite Card, the college that I attend, and a local checking cashing place 7 times until it eventually cleared that annoying number from my phone. This has worked for me.

Note that the inessential numbers you send texts to will take the place of that annoying number, so if that is OK, then make sure that the annoying number is deleted from your contact list first, and try it.

Connect phone to PC and drag n drop, or add pics to an email from smartphone and send to yourself and open on PC and save.

How do I make a draft sms message and save it. How do I then send it to someone?

To make draft messages on your phone..First go to message menu create message..Type message you want,after typing click OK button of yuor phone there are options that says save messages..To access that message ,go to the message menu choose draft or save message,select the message you want to send click OK and select edit then Click OK button of your phone select SEND then choose the number in your phonebook..Hope this helps..

Have a LG Cookie 500 when I send a text get =cannot send/retrieve messages, just stoped sending I can recieve text! got new sim but still the same Please Help!

This can occur when you compose a message and then hit recipient and then enter the contacts name. The phone will say 'Sending' then 'Cannot send/retrieve messages'.If you enter the recipients NUMBER the transmission will work OK.

If you want to send a text to someone by NAME, select their name from the 'Contacts' list then hit the Message icon (envelope). Write the message then hit send...

Txt messeging wth an LG neon

all you do is go onto messaging then creat message then click message then it should go to a white screen with the dotted lines and you can just slide it open write your message click send then type in their number or click contact then find the contact click on it then click send

Can't delete the recent messages log on the LG CU920

Go into a new text message and hit the "send to" option. Scroll down to the first name above the line and hit the "options" button. Scroll down and select "Recent messages" and choose whoever from that list that you'd like to be your top 3. I actually just sent all three of mine a blank text, but when I went back to the "send to" list voila! MORE INFO: I tried all kinds of things to remove names from my top three recipients list. What ended up working was to send a text to multiple recipients at once. Two was enough. But it was important who I selected first. I sent a message to my wife and my friend. My wife's name got added back to my top three! Then I reversed and sent a message to my friend and to my wife. His name got added back!
