I have a new craftsman mini tiller - first used today and after tilling a 15x25 section it stopped. would not restart. After 2 hrs we restarted and it ran for 1 min & stopped. any ideas ? or fix?

Can be multiple causes.

Try removing fuel cap, then press the primer (purge) bulb several times. This will purge air from the carburtetor... you should note after pushing the bulb it will spring back and draw fuel into the bulb. Then when you press the bulb, fuel is expelled back into fuel tank.

Then put the fuel cap back on but dont tighten. Now start by following instructions in the manual. If it starts, tighten fuel cap and use.

If it runs for a few minutes, dies and wont restart, then repeat the above purge exercise. If then it starts, most likely the fuel cap is not venting and suggest you replace.

Were do you put hydro drive oil in. I have a 700ex

Hello, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the trans-axle on this is a sealed unit and oil cannot be added. The only thing you can do is an air purge or replace the trans-axle.

Doing a purge is really easy:

  1. put transmission in the freewheel mode so you can push it, ensuring that it is on a flat surface
  2. start engine and run full throttle
  3. release clutch brake
  4. push the drive pedal or lever to the full forward position for a ten count
  5. push the drive pedal or lever to the full reverse position for a ten count
  6. repeat steps 4 & 5 three times
  7. depress & lock the clutch brake
  8. return the transmission to the normal mode
  9. drive tractor
If this fails to correct the problem you may need to replace the transaxle.

Need to restart diesel engine after running low on fuel, on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

After putting more fuel in the vehicle
Open the hood
On the righthand side of the engine just to the side of valve cover, back by the firewall you will find a round plunger about 1 1/2" in diameter. The plunger will push down and come right back up on its own. Push the plunger rapidly till the pushing gets firmer or stiff.
Start it up. Sometimes it will have to be done a couple of times. I actually fined it works best to pump it firm and then have someone else start it while you keep pumping it. If you do it this way make sure your body is clear of all moving parts.
This is a very fast way of getting it going
Good luck

Printer orange light flashing 2 and 5 times, servive error 5100

Hi You can Try 2 things.
All the luck for you
There is some foreign object blocking your cartridges carriage that disables it from moving. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there

Next try.

It may be a piece of paper or a scotch tape or a staple wire.
Solution 1:
Clean the timing strip.

Solution 2:
The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .

Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Mode button unresponsive in my 2006 dodge dakota radio.

After sitting all day in the parking lot at work, I started the truck to go home and everything seemed back to normal. There must be some sort of time related reset. I have not tried pushing the MODE button again and probably won't until I need to.
