Looking for a code for a Star Choice Satalite Receiver f(Motorola) to enter into the Onkyo remote control. The Onkyo remote is for a Onkyo AV Receiver TX-SR606. I want to have the this remote work for the Satalite Receiver but there is no code to imput into the Onkyo Remote Control.
Hello, I just tried the same thing for about 2 hours on a buddies system. I did find on the internet to try 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, to 0007 see if one of these work?

You didn't mention which setup code you're using, or explicitly say whether the OK/Select button is red or gray (the manual you're using is for gray), so these are somewhat generic instructions. I have just bought an Onkyo HT-S6100 Home Theatre system and have the same problem. The Onkyo website, and Manual both list Motorola and General Instruments devices under Cable set top boxes, but nothing under Satellite set top boxes.
I have contacted Onkyo Tech Support but they were not very helpful. They simply told me the codes were "correct at the time of publishing" and subject to change... Then suggested I try the Cable box codes.... (That was the first thing I tried)
Anyone have any other suggestions?
