MY VAIO VGN-N130G crashed and now all I get is the Title Screen

Usually there is a cover under your laptop that is marked.
Remove 1 or 2 screws and your harddrive should just slide out.

i think you do not now how to flash the bios.
first you need the program "wbflash.exe" also you need the xxx.bin file (thad are the bios data) in the program you have to select the xxx.bin file for update the bios if you have done the program screen wil checq the bios and ask for saving old bios if you say yes than thad wil be done after thad you can update the bios with the new one (xxx.bin)if this are done you computer wil restart and the yob are fixed.
NOTE LOOK OUT !!!! if you do not have the right or rong bin file and you update your bios with it the computer wil restat and wil not turn on than you have a bigger problem and it are not reversebile .
only update the bios if you have problems with the computer other wise leave it.

Make sure that the operating System on the recovery CDs is the same as the one on your computer.
If you are trying to recover from a CD with Vista and your computer operating system is Win-XP that will not work.

Other Thing may be you had a hidden partition and some how you over written it or it is damaged.
check the hard disk partition stat.

Contact Sony WEB site support, they can supply a recovery CD.

download knoppix (http://www.knppix.net) and burn it the .iso to CD. You will be able to boot just from the CD-ROM and back up all your photos to thumb drive.

usually there are screws coming upward from the bottom to remove the keyboard,then you have to remove the palmrest which the touchpad is integrated into.
