Cummins qsd 2.0 150

Hi I have a QSD 150 that has just had a new ECU and Turbo fitted under warranty. Hoever now sometime it just wont rev over 3000RPM other time it is fine. In addition the sterndrive trim only works at low revs and will not work at high revs. When the Engine hrs were 180 but since the new ECU are now 6hrs. Thank for your help.

I think you should go back to your dealer to fix those problems. The original problem isn't solved totally with the done replacements.
Working yourself on the engine could void your warranty!

SOURCE: rev counter

The revs were reset wrong, get them re adjusted. Go back to same garage and ask for it to be done free, as it was done wrong first time.

SOURCE: diesel turbo with no power at low revs

this tells me that the injector timing is off just a bit or you may have a weak injector all together.

SOURCE: I have a Renault Megane

Have you tried the idle control valve, these can stick & cause the engine to rev high. Have had this problem on a few cars, a Vectra being the worst, but quick clean with brake cleaner & good as new.

SOURCE: when im idling in park or neutral engine revs high

These cars used a motor underneath the intake manifold to control the idle. The crank sensor may need to be checked, the signal to the motor needs to be checked. If you have a seperate control module (passenger footwell, right side, behind the plastic) under the main fuel control module, you may want to check the wiring on that as well. The Haynes manual for these vehicles describe the system very well.

How do I wire a mb quart QXD 164 crossover to a kef kar kx3?

I would not recommend this.

Crossovers are designed with specific speakers in mind - they are not interchangeable, since the impedance (Resistance and Inductance) varies widely.

While this will not damage anything to try it, it will probably sound terrible as most people that have separates for the car audio are fairly particular about sound.

Charging problem on 1996 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins Turbo Diesel

I had the same problem on a 94 dodge with the cummins. It seems the crank sensor that reads from a notch on the harmonic balancer was the problem Without this sensor reading that the engine is running the alternator wont charge. Possibly the same problem with yours
