GE 6.0 Dect 28300 not working in Vista w/skypemate

VOIP 321 is working with windows 7. Install the Vista Software. After that you change compatility under properties (right mouse klick) to windws vista and it works fine regards kurt

do you have a fire wall, it maybe stopping skype from accessing the internet

The instructions on the setup disk and the manual which came with the skype GE 2 line phone are inadequate. I just wiped out the phone installation, as well as the skype installation, and then reinstalled them both. After installing the phone, I went to make a skype call, from the keypad, and, indeed, it was dialing properly and call was made, so everything started working, so the disk used to install the phone worked, but not in the way described in the manuals -- wasted 2 - 3 hours due to poor documentation.

I have model 28300 skype phone .I have installed the 2 in 1 software and I get PC not available. I have 4.0 skype and this did work on my other computer. Help.

download skylink. install. then plug in phone. in that order.

use that one. it worked for me.

I found the answer - I have two Skype DUal phones - I just disconnected from the mains power supply and then reconnected - FIXED - Enjoy

just put the usb cabel in and then it will come up in my computer that you have put a usb cabel in open that folder and it will say web cam and it will atuomaticly open your web cam

Click download for the Vista Drivers. Download the driver to your desktop open the file to install the drivers. Reboot the computer

Plug the VoIP321 back into the computer.
Then on Skype go to Tools then Options.
Click on Advance and manage other programs access to Skype choose allow for the voip321.
