Ebl60720102 Tuner gone bad

Check for bad batteries on remote. If still nothing, then remote unit has gone bad or the receiver section in converter tuner is bogus. Either one or the other.

Rain at all channels. I hope you must already have gone through the channel search process. Despite that if you do not get TV programmes, there is some problem with the tuner section. Either it is not getting proper operating voltage or the tuning voltage. May be the tuner itself has gone bad. For the tuner to select and receive channels there are certain requirements which must be fulfilled. Please check that area properly.

Something inside the tuner has gone bad. I had a sub video grabber do the same to me. I had to replace the grabber

The tuner inside the unit has most likely gone bad. I've seen a lot of these units do this in the last year or so. Precor use to refurbish these on site but they discontinued the program. If a tuner goes bad in one of these they want you to replace the whole viewing system now

It can be bought from any electronic spare part selling shops. Buy an original number printed [labelled] on it.

10 blinks is the Miscellaneous error code. Your TV knows something is wrong, but isn't sure what it is. It can be any number of things, including bad boards. Generally A red light blinking 10 times means that a video board has gone bad. viz.
Sub 5v SOS / Main 3v SOS DG Board/ DTV 9v SOS / Tuner Power SOS

This is an indication of faulty tuner,If transformer or some dry joints around them.
Resoldering the dry joints is the first to be check.
Sometimes cold solder is hard to spot so you need a qualified technician to do the job.

If you've already resolder some cold solder and still the symptom still there then you have to replaced either of the tuner or if transformer.
I've suspect that it's your tuner gone bad.
Ask an estimate to repair shop the service fee plus parts because tuner is quite expensive.

do you have the yellow video and red and white audio rca cables ?
it will give you a better picture than the coax connection.
but the tv tuner may be going , so using the rca jacks would eliminate the tuner, but finding out which tuner is bad ( cable box if using one or the tv tuner)should be checked with another tv to see if it also happends to that tv , if it does not then the other tv tuner is bad and needs to be replaced

you might have the tuner checked out to see if its bad or not.usually when theres no signal it means the tuner has gone out

Hi. Your problem is not at all likely to be the tuner or the crt. Your problem will be frame collapse or fault in heater chain. Not complicated for repair shop to sort out for you.
