Give the Cricut a break. Turn the Cricut off and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes each hour. Try using a different cartridge. ... If the Cricut continues to freeze, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
Hi, My cricut expression is more then 5 years old. I used it one day and the next day I would not come on (it dose Nothing at all). I brought a new power cord from cricut and still nothing. I'm unable to buy a new one Please help if you can. Thanks!!
Sheila, After much useless searching and an hour on hold with Cricut support, I finally got an answer. It would seem that the cradle arm is not a replaceable piece. Cricut can not supply anything to fix the problem. However, I have found that if you can get the cradle arm back into position you can lock it into place with the thumb screw. It will still hold the blade housing and marker/pen housings, you just have to be careful when removing them to make sure you don't damage your project. Hope this helps.
Any resolution to this issue? I like stone234 have narrowed it down to the cricut not getting power past the power board. I tested the two prongs that feed the red and black power for the main board and no voltage. Cricut Exp 2. Powered on as soon as I plugged it in. Plugged in usb to computer, I didnt have the software so i searched for it then started downloading it and noticed the screen on the unit was frozen. unplugged it and after plugging it back in it wouldn't power back on.
Sounds like you have a bad connection in there. I would contact Cricut for tech support; they will probably be able to send you another machine to replace yours. Mind you they will put a charge on your card and remove it when they receive your machine. I hope this helps if you need their contact number get back in touch with me.
Yes, I was just going to recommend contacting them. I see you have contacted them already. Good luck with getting it fixed~they are prompt in helping with machines. If you have any further questions about the cricut feel free to ask.
You may want to try resetting your Cricut to see if that fixes the problem. To reset the Cricut machine, turn the unit off for five minutes. Roll all the dials all the way up and all the way down five times each. Turn the Cricut back on. This is the manufacturer's reset process. Good luck!
