My msi A6200 laptop goes thru the installed things again again. Won't let me go to recovery or reset... help. What keys do I press

Hit the F8 key during the bootup and if menu pops up select "last known good bootup" and hit enter - see what happens.

Or use the recovery disks that came with your unit or that you were supposed to make. If no disks you may be able to purchase from MSI. Otherwise you will have to do a clean install of the OS from regular install disks.

How can I recover my cr700 when after going into recovery mode I have nothing on screen.the mouse works but blank screen.i get the win logo and loading windows files but nothing after that. I have tried...

If you have backed up your data (photos, documents, etc.) on an external hard drive, USB disk, DVD's.

If there is company data, or otherwise valuable data, this is better left to a professional! If you are able to cope with the possible loss of all your data, feel free to continue reading.
If you're unable to backup your data, you might try to do so with:
Easeus Data recovery Wizard
Data Recovery Wizard Free 8 6

After you have baked up your data. You could try to recover windows from the error by:
-Pressing F3 repeatedly when the unit is powered on.
-This will get you a menu to load Windows, or Windows recovery
-After this, select "Windows Sytem Recovery Options"
-Follow the on-screen options to try and fix the issue
-If this doesn't work, power on the laptop again and press F3
-load up the Windows option that you are given
!THIS WILL DELETE ALL YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND RESTORE THE COMPUTER TO FACTORY DEFAULTS!
-Select "MSI Recovery Manager"
-IF YOU ARE SURE IT'S OKAY TO LOSE ALL DATA: "OK" > "OK"

-IF F3 Doesn't work, either your recovery files are missing, or your hard disk is failing. If this is the case, you can read on at:

How do I return my msi wind u180 to factory settings

Use the recovery partition on your MSI laptop to recover its original factory settings. Recovering your MSI laptop to its original factory settings will resolve problems with instability that you may be experiencing as a result of missing system files that were accidentally deleted. Recovering your MSI laptop to its original factory settings will also completely remove any viruses on your computer's hard drive that you were unable to remove with anti-virus software. Fortunately, you can wipe all of the information off your laptop's hard drive and start with a clean slate.

Instructions
  • 1
Turn on or restart your laptop. Press "F3" repeatedly when the MSI logo appears on the screen during the boot process to be redirected to the "Windows Boot Manager."
  • 2
Highlight "Windows Setup [EMS Enabled]" using the arrow keys on the keyboard. Press "Enter" to access the recovery partition on the hard drive of the MSI laptop. The "System Recovery Option" dialog box will appear on the screen. Click "MSI Recovery Manager." Click "OK" when a message appears on the screen notifying you that your computer will be restored to its original factory settings.
  • 3
Click "OK" when a message appears notifying you that the hard drive will be formatted to begin the recovery process. A dialog box with a status bar will appear to indicate how much time is left in the recovery process. Depending on the size of your hard drive as well as how much personal data needs to be erased, the recovery process could take up to 45 minutes.

No recovery disk for msi fx700

The recovery disc is partitioned on the hard drive. when it boots up look for the verbage to tell you what function key to hit to run recovery. If this works then great. for me I had to email MSI, they replied back with a word document and I filled it out ordering a dvd of my recovery disc. it cost about $30.00. I had to do this because my hard drive crashed. working great now.

When I turn on my MSI M510C notebook - ''reboot and select proper

Your notebook does not see the proper boot files on your C drive. Many times the boot.ini has been corrupted.
You will need a Windows XP Install CD mounted in the CD Rom. When you boot the system you need to choose the CD as the boot device (if the notebbok does not do it by default) then typr R to enter the recovery console. Once you get the C: prompt you will need to create a new boot.ini file using the bootcfg command. See the following website for details in using the Recovery Console:
