Here are some reasons for intermittent issues:
The wireless adapter is too far from the wireless router it is connected to
The wireless channel selected is too busy with other network traffic. Select another channel (1-11)
There are too many other wifi and bluetooth devices close to the Xerox adapter.
Take your paper tray out, and open the paper path door. Take a soapy cleaner and some alcohol and clean every roller you can see. The gray rubber ones espicially. If that doesnt cure it, then most likely the registration clutch should be replaced.
Xerox does not list that model at all - are you sure the model number is correct ? It would appear that either the cartridge or fuser may be defective. Does the machine show any error codes at all ?
Here is a user manual for a similar model 3225 that may help under the troubleshooting section : http://www.office.xerox.com/userdoc/N3225/pdfs/UserGuide.pdf
This is where you find manuals for all Xerox products : http://www.support.xerox.com/go/prodselect.asp?Xlang=en_CA
On the right side of the machine. There is an encoder mounted to the end of the drum shaft. They are known to become contaminated with the silicon lubricant from the maintenance kit. That causes the drum to spin off speed somewhat randomly. You can take it off the shaft and clean it well with alcohol. Sometimes they need replaced, but if it is as intermittent as you are suggesting cleaning it should take care of your problem. Not all that uncommon.
One of 2 things is happening, Either the Heating element is going bad, or more likely the thermistor that monitors the temperature of the fuser is intermittent. You will most likely need to replace the fuser to resolve the issue. That machine has a one year on site warranty. If its less than a year old Xerox will fix it for you free of charge.
