PAC L90 LT thermostat not working, unit icing over

This happens daily. We have to dry it out with a hair dryer. I know there is supposed to be a theremometer that keeps ice from forming...how do we check, or replace it?

No that would be either a dirty filter/coil ir low refridgerant if it's freezing in cooling mode.

Clean/replace the filter, clean the coil and if it keeps doing it, have a technician who is EPA certified for servicing systems with refridgerant to look at it/add refridgerant.

I get water (ice) in the bottom of my freezer and this occasionally overflows onto the floor at the front of the fridge. Is there a defrost drain on my fridge that may be clogged. We've had the fridge...

Is this a NEW refrigerator? If so then you have a valid warranty service request.

If it is not, there are 2 things that cause ice build up:

1. The ice maker water valve leaking by when the water valve is supposed to be closed.
You can prove this by doing the following:
a. Ice maker OFF
b. Remove the plastic line on the back of your unit at the rubber water fill tube connection. Place it in a bucket over night or for a day. If there is ANY water in the bucket the water valve is allowing water to leak by when it is supposed to be closed.
The olny remedy is to change the water valve.
2. Te freezer compartment evaporator drain is frozen or clogged. This requires opening up the rear access cover of the freezer to clear a clog. If you just suspect ice build up you can empty the freezer compartment and place a fan blowing into the freezer compartment for over 2 hours to melt the ice in the evaporator drain.
If you need assistance with parts or anything else just respond here and I will gladly help you. I do ask that you include your model number in any future post so that I can pass you links and data applicable to your exact unit.

Hello, My fan outside is froze & my heat is not coming out like it's suppose to. Can you tell me how to get the ice off the fan?

If were talking ice, melt it with a hair dryer, or torch. If it's the whole unit is frozen, your defrost is not working, and you will need to replace the defrost board, or the thermostat for the defrost mechanism. If the unit's fan froze meaning it won't work only the compressor, then the fan died, and you'll need to replace the motor.

PAC L90 water tank capacity

when tank is full you will get the letters FE will signal a FULL TANK
(The tank is full)

You have it setup to constantly drain GOOD.
Should you should not plug the drain hoses to get colder air.
Do let it drain . It is more convenient!
If the unit is the proper BTU for the square footage of the area to be cooled it will be cold!
If the tank gets full you will not get cool air?

Please remember to leave a rating before you go!
Thank you

Delonghi Pac L90

Hoses for proper connection should have been included with your purchase. Without the hoses the set-up can not be done satisfactory. One is for fresh air supply and the other is the hot air exit hose. These are normally vented out a window. Check with the dealer where you perchased the unit from. If from a private individual contact them.
