White Screen I have a white screen and can't get rid of it. I tried taking the batterie out and it still had a white screen and I shut it off and on a lot but still a white screen. What do I do?

if it doesn't turn off you need to hold the power button 8 seconds

shut the console.

remove the game ship

using a tooth pick, press a small button inside the slot

Now power on and it should be fixed.

Try taking the battery out and pressing the power button for 30 seconds to completely discharge it, then put everything back together and try to turn it on. If that doesn't work, there's not much else that you could do unless you have warranty, or get a new phone.

Either the display panel needs to be replaced or the video inverter is bad.

Try taking out the battery overnight and replace and try to turn on. If this doesn't help, then try updating your phone's firmware.

Oh my gosh this really works! Our screen went white, we hadn't dropped it or anything. The camera still worked fine but we just couldn't see what we were taking a picture of. We tried this solution and now we can see the picture through the screen perfectly. THANKS for posting this!
