Player not detecting new mp3 files added to usb drive

I have a kenwood KDC-u346 car player, and I have this problem that started a month ago. Whenever I add new mp3 files or modify and save existing mp3 files, the player does not detect these new or modified files. Its as if it is stuck in its condition a month ago. I have tried ejecting the usb and re connecting it but the problem persists. I tried the same USB on other car players and they can detect all the mp3 files. I really don't know what is going on.

I have the MP-283 Model and the directions are poor not doubt,
I too was also having trouble with the DEMO mode and clock adjustment.

I put the stereo in standby mode, then press and hold the control knob for 2 seconds, then release and press the bass boost/ menu button, this shold open up all the options of the setero by using the control knob up/down to scroll through the various adjustments.

User manual for a Kenwood CD receiver model KDC-U346 Thanks

Kenwood has the manual for the KDC-U346 available through the Car Electronics support page: https://www.kenwood.com/cs/ce/ . Enter the model number and click the search button. Click on the link to your model's support and scroll down to find the manuals. The current link to the KDC-U346 manual in English is http://manual.kenwood.com/files/4acea67631aca.pdf . This manual covers several Kenwood models.

I hope this helps.

Usb port dont work on car cd player

Need to check your User Manual for USB specifications.

USB port can only recognise certain formats, so you may need to either change your USB device's File System (e.g. convert to FAT32) or convert your files into a format the unit will recognise.

I bought a used car and it already had a kenwood kdc-x890 installed. my question is when i plug my zune or even just a mp3 player into the usb port it responds with [n/a data].

The KDC-X890 will play MP3s that are stored on a USB mass storage device, such as a USB thumb drive. It won't play music from another MP3 player such as a Zune through the USB port, but you could plug your MP3 player into the auxiliary jack.

How i can attach mp3 or memory card with my kenwood player

Hi.

If the Kenwood is compatible with USB memory adapter, then you will have an USB port on the front side of the player, just aside the CD slot.

If the stereo is MP3 compatible, that does not mean that the unit is compatible with USB devices.
If the Kenwood is MP3 but not USB compatible, you can play MP3 files burning them onto a CD, then playing the MP3 CD in the CD player.

Regards.

JUST PRESS THE RESET BUTTON, SITUATED NEXT TO THE USB PLUG.
IF ALL THE CONNECTIONS WERE OK, IT SHOUD REINITIATE THE KDC-MP438U AS PAGE 3
OF THE MANUAL. YOU WILL HAVE TO READJUST THE CLOCK.
