No fuel going to carb

I replaced the fuel line on the chain saw & now the carb is not getting any gas through the line. When I prime the carb the chain saw cranks up but will not keep running. This is an older craftsman 10" saw & does not have a primer on it.

I replaced gaskets and fuel lines now when i prime bulb gas runs out of carb, also need factory settings for H-L and throttle,i know i messed up somewhere?realy need my saw running, thanks

take apart your carb--sounds like your carb diaphram is not installed right the settings should be
1.5 turn out low jet
1 turn out high jet
that should get it running then some fine adjustment once its running

Poulan chain saw model #2025 - fuel lines dry rotted and disintegrated. There are 3 fuel lines: l from gas tank and 2 from primer button but only 2 fuel ports on the carb. What goes where and how?

You should have 2 to the tank, the one with filter coming from tank goes to nipple on right side of carb, the nipple on left side by primer bulb goes to primer bulb and other from primer bulb back to tank as return line, how it should work is when you push primer bulb it pulls fuel from tank through carb and back to tank on return line so watch in tank orleave one line out that you think is return line and see if gas comes out when you prime, but remember it goes through the carb first before it goes back to tank, had a pic but too big to put on site sorry, 2StrokeJim

PowerMac by McCulloch PM425AV-18 38cc. I have replaced the line from the fuel mixture tank to the primer bulb & replaced the primer bulb. Now the chainsaw won't keep or looses the prime. Now...

Are you sure you have conected the pipes the correct way round, the fuel hose from the tank with the filter on the end goes to the main fuel inlet on the carb, nearest to the alloy pump cover, the other conection off the carb goes to the shorter conection on the back of the primer, the longer pipe on the primer goes back to the tank, just remember the primer pulls fuel from the carb, into the bulb, and back to the tank.

Fuel lines on a craftsman chain saw need to be replaced which lines go to primer and carb

just connect them both anyway you chose. press prime button a few times to pressurise tank. you get a 50/50 chance to get it right.
if it just sucking air release pressure first by removing filler cap to prevent face full of fuel then swap pipes over on carb. i did this job a couple of weeks a go on my husky66. only use proper flexy pipe from a lawn mower centre. costs about £2.50 / foot.

Homelite xl-175 chain saw no prime

As long as the line fits tight so its not sucking air you should be ok.. try changing out the plug if its old. Clean out the air filter too.. But the line should be ok as long as its tight..

I need a repair diagram for a poulan 2050 that shows just where each gasline goes. Anyone know where to go?

the bottom fuel line that goes to carb lower port also goes to the fuel tank look inside fuel tank threw gas cap hole to find the fuel filter hose is picking up the fuel and bringing the gas to the lower fuel port into carb (the upper from carb goes to prime or return to tank)

Craftsman 358.352070-14 chain saw start problem

You could try and prime the carburetor and start the saw. If the saw starts for a short while, but dies, than it probably isn't getting fuel into the carburetor, which means that the carburetor either needs to have a rebuilt kit installed, or adjusted or both. This could especially be true if the saw has been around for a while and used quite a bit.

The filter in the tank usually doesn't go bad, but it doesn't hurt to replace it. Usually it is obvious when they are dirty and need to be replaced.
