Put PWC in lake started right up went around lake several times beached it for about 15 minutes tried to restart wouldn't start put in new battery still won't start just the start button lights up. Just had engine rebuilt last spring
Mine was doing the same thing it was the starter solenoid,may also be the starter if the motor does not crank over

first put a new battery in it. then put your lanyard in the handle bar clip push the start button make sure that you have a life jacket on when your in the water and make sure that u attach the lanyard to your wrist or life jacket

Have you changed the 'fuel filter'. That's where you start.
