Lexmark x3330 for linux

I cant get the lexmark x3330 printer to work under ubuntu 8.10
please help me

yes... but they dont have drivers on their website.... they have drivers for win and for MAC .... no linux drivers...

Hi there,

Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
restart the computer
try to download drivers from the website
after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

I'm sorry to inform you that the Lexmark P704 does not have a driver for Linux operating system. It works on Windows and Macintosh operating system though.

Can it run on LinuxUbuntu 9.10?

Hi. Yes, your printer will run on LinuxUbuntu 9.10. There is a driver available for download in the Lexmark website. Just click on this link. http://bit.ly/cXIEFa . Click on Linux/Unix tab on the center of the page. Download the Linux driver for Debian Package Manager based distros with filename: lexmark-08z-series-driver-1.0-1.i386.deb.sh.tar.gz.
