Tomtom go 520 can't wirelessly connect with sony ericcson k850i

I have paired the mobile phone and the tomtom via bluetooth and that works fine. I have also set up the wireless connection on the tomtom and that seems ok but as soon as I go to download maps etc the tomtom and mobile phone disconnect from each other. I have phoned vodafone but they can't help me and tried to put me through to tomtom but they are not available until tomorrow. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You have to use TomTom Home software to dload and install maps. DO NOT do this with your cell phone...

Hands free car kit

Reset the Sony Ericcson to Factory settings, by using last option on the phone settings .

Then try pairing again, if it still does not work may be incompatible with the car kit.

I have a Nokia 6230 and a tomtom 520 go satnav. When tom tom is connected to the computer the mobile does not operate. Can you advise. I am on Sky broadband and the mobile bluetooh is set to on.
