Sounds like you will need to format the internal memory of the camera. This will permanently erase all the data from the memory and then you will be able to use it again. To format the memory: Press the Ok button - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to Card tab - right arrow to card setup - right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the write protect message and the memory can be used again.

Write protect or to unlock pic to delete them

Remove the card from the camera and look for the lock tab. On the image below, it is a yello tab located near the top of the left edge on the long side. This one is shown in the unlocked position. Yours is likely down - at the locked position. Simply push it up and reinsert into your camera and take pictures.

My picture card is saying no picture when i go to take a picture the card says full it wont let me take a picture??

Hi.

Check AE lock custom button:

d373c1c.gif

Ensure that the memory card has no protective seal or object in front of the protection area. See here.

Ensure that the files are not individually protected (Key sign in settings)

If that does not fix the problem, then the card may be defective. In that case replace the card.

Here a manual.

How can I turn off "write protect"

The write protect is usually a small micro switch on the memory card. Pull it out and make sure the switch is not locked. It's located on the edge of one side of the card..

Olympus camedia c-3040 zoom how to delete pic

Judging by your explanation, the photos are on your sd digital memory card rather than the internal memory.
Since you are unable to delete just those 15, it sounds like you might have accidentally enabled the "protect" function.

Get out your manual (or download a new one) and read about how to protect/unprotect photos, and also read about how to format your card in camera - something you should do on a VERY regular basis for the health of your memory card.

While you have the book out, read ALL of it - twice! You'll be amazed how much you'll learn.

Write protect message appears on screen

Sounds as if the memory card may be corrupted. In order to remove the write protect, make sure you have downloaded and saved all of the images from the memory card to your computer and then having the card in the camera you will need to run the format option and this will permanently remove the write protect as well as all of the images from the card.
The card should be able to be used again after the write protect is removed.
