Hello We have a 52 inch mitsubishi wd 52525 and it has the BGLOD. We took it apart and do not see any caps bulging or loose solders. All the caps are the larger size. Any other ideas?
Re: blinking green timer light on mitsubishi wd 52525
Disconnect the connector for the front switch control board. Try turning it on with the remote. If it works replace that board, also look for bad caps on the small signal board. they're 1000Mf 16v

Probley should check the DM board for bad capastors. DM board is inside of a metal case should be on left side of tv when looking from rear capastors should be marked 16v 1000 uF on them should be 4 of them about 1 inch tall green or black or blue or brown maybe even yellow in color if bulage on top then then thay are bad if not still could be bad common problem need to check may or may not be your problem does couse the power light to blink non stop.
this set is prone to a lot of troubles-if you are lucky some caps in the power supply are gone--led does not ever stop blinking---if you are not lucky----DMD or dm board are bad-----the power supply in this set is a joke; these sets are dropping like flys.
that means your lamp it is getting to the end of its life. sometimes even if the lamp still good the TV will send you that message because that timer is closed to 5000 hours
What you can do is open the lamp door, closed again and the tv will ask you if you replaced it the lamp, and just say yes and that sign will go away
continuous blinking green light indicates that the capacitors have failed on the DM pwb. You need the V26 DLP DM repair kit which is available at the following link under their repair category. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
