Make sure the setting is on auto or something . check the knob at the top .
if your internal memory is full, then you need to either put the pics on the computer or delete them . get a memory card so you have more room .
try taking out the battery for a little while or charging it .
if your niece deleted it all then it's gone , i'm sorry .

Lost download disc for kodak m863

You can download Kodak software here. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

When i go to charge my kodak M863 camera (in the wall or by USB) the green light flashes and then the red light blinks 3 times. please help this is the first time charging my camera.

You can used the USB cable to charged the camera, But some of the M863 camera will not take charged usign the USB cable., I strongy suggest used the AC adaptor just make sure the AC adaptor is 5V ac adaptor it will only charged using the 5V adaptor., About the flashing green it indicates camera is charging just wait for the solid green light it means it fully charged

You may purchased also a special charger for your battery(KLIC-7001)- cahrer model is K8600-C. i think the price of this charger is around $29.00

I have a Kodak M863 camera and it wont stay on

If your cam use manufactors rechargeble batt.:
Make sure that you are installing a fresh/ full charge battery
Remove the battery
Clean the metal contacts on the battery using a clean cloth

Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the batt. If not you will need to order a No power repair.

Kodak easy share digital camera m863

I have a Easy Share M863 and have had it less than a year. It was working great and then last week I tried turning it on and it would not open. I thought it might be the battery needed charging so I did that. It still will not open. I contacted Kodak and they told me they would give me 15% on a new digital camera. That is not what I wanted. My camera is not even a year old. It should have lasted longer I think.
