Start light flashing which means fault. What sort

now , because it showing two types of flash code, sounds like a Curtis 1212 controller now the flash code means

sound serious, well it can be a controller fault ,, it simply means the circuit that drives the relay has become faulty .

I can repair them cheaply...if UK based ..

3,2 BRAKE ON FAULT brake On fault 1. Electromagnetic brake driver shorted. 2. Electromagnetic brake coil open.

so what does that mean well ?

most likely the connection between the read axle and the frame so check them out , making sure they are a good connection, maybe use some contract spray, if the axle is not removed often then I suggest removing the axle and try refitting it may well sort the issue .

14 flashes is a fault code. You need to determine which light is flashing and look at an online Mitsubishi fault code analysis chart for your model. The light(s) that flash determine the fault. Power, defrost, timer light flash all mean something different.

hi , by sorting the fault, how many times does the fault light flash before a pause then starts flashing again ?

Best is to get new parts rather than reconditioned parts when it comes to electronics ,

It seems without knowing brand name and model number it seems it is timer or control panel problem

Check engine light means that the car's computer (OBD-on board diagnostics)has read a fault of some sort. First thing I would do is get the fault code read-Auto Zone or Advance Auto will read your OBD for free. Just go there and tell them your check engine light is on-they'll know what to do, and it's free. Once you get that code (should be a 4 digit code, possibly more than one), do a Google search for your year, make and model and include that fault code-that should give you some results that can point you in the right direction.

Just to explain each flashing light is telling us something. These units display error codes to us by which light flashes. The only fault that makes all lights flash is if there was a power failure whilst the unit was operating. I sort of doubt this one being the cause unles the actual power lead to the unit or the electrical plug itself is dodgy. I need you to be certain of which lights are flashing, the ones between the high and low marks are the important ones, each one means a different thing. My gut feeling is this is not a simple problem and will require a good technician to physically sort it out. I always recommend getting these serviced and cleaned every year anyway. Even if I could tell you whats wrong, it's very unlikely that it would be a simple fix for a DIY person.

If the light was flashing when it came on, then it means your engine is misfiring.

A solid light can mean anything from a loose/faulty gas cap to a transmission issue.

This light comes on when the computer detects a fault of some sort in its diagnostic tests. If it keeps detecting this issue, the light will remain on. If the light turns off, then it has detected that the issue may no longer be present.

In order to find out what the exact reason was for your light, You need to have your car computer scanned to retrieve the code that the computer would have stored when the light triggered. Most garages will do this free of charge. The code will tell you what may have caused the light to initially turn on.

count the number of flashes- this indicates fault ie will flash 4 times stop, flash 4 times stop. To clear fault, hold start button for 3 secs. Try running another fast cycle- if fault reoccurs count flashes: Number of flashes:1=NTC fault, 2=Flood switch activated, 3=Heating fault, 4=drain fault, 6=water inlet fault, 7=flow meter fault, 8=water level fault

Unplug the printer completely for 5 minutes and try again.
