Looking for driver for my Hipstreet HS-2805 16 GB MP3 Player

I get the message found new hardware which brings up the hardware wizard. It searches for the USB device but then comes up with message that cannot install the hardware because cannot find the necessary software. Please can anyone help me solve this problem?

you can check if the USB cable is securely connected to the computer. Make sure that it is not EJECTED. This way, the device IS connected but it is not being read by the computer. Un plug the device and plug it again. See if it works, because, if it doesn't work with the computer, then there's no other option. There are other terms that are used when a portable device is connected, like Removable Disk (F, or H) hope this helped you!

No problem here.
From the owner's manual (link below) page 3.
Use the USB cable to connect your player to your computer. First charge takes three hours (the red LED will come on steadily), after that, two hours is sufficient to bring your player up to full charge.

Looks like you need to install the drivers/software for the player on your computer. If this is the case, the player should have come with a CD containing the required drivers/software. If you do not have the CD, call technical support of the manufacturer to send you one or give you a Web page address from where you can download the drivers/software on your computer.

Hi am trying to connect it with my pc but its asking new hardware found "mtp device driver" but not installing just poping up againg and again not connecting with pc
You don't need any driver software, if your pc has windows xp sp2 or later and Windows Media Player 11.
If you have problem with your device follow this steps:
1. Connect the player to the computer.
2. From the computer, select start - Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - System. "System Properties" is displayed.
3. Select Hardware tab, and open Device manager.
4. Open Universal Serial Bus controllers, and select USB Mass Storage Device or WALKMAN NWZ-XXXXX.
5. Select Action - Update Driver ... from the menu bar. "Welcome to the Hardware Update Wizard" is displayed.
6. A dialog on Windows Update connection will be displayed. Select No, not this time., followed by Next.
7. Select Install from a list or specific location [Advanced], followed by Next for the hardware install method.
8. Select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install., followed by Next for the search and install option.
9. Check Show compatible hardware, and then select MTP Device* in the model list, followed by Next. The device driver is installed.
10. "Completing the Hardware Update Wizard" message is displayed, and confirm "MTP Device" message. Click Finish.

MTP Error
When the YP-K3 2 gb device is plugged into the USB Port, the system says "Found New Hardware, Samsung YP-K3" which then switches to "MTP Device" and then fails on an MTP error. It seems to be searching for a driver, and cannot find one. H E L P!!!!!

This is the worst mp3 player ever invented - i have to tell you this up front. There is no driver, the company does not support the product anymore - I would return it now while you still can.

Either the device is bad, the pc port is bad, or the software is faulty. Try connecting to different usb port, then a usb port on a different pc with a compatible os. If still not recognized, then there is physical damage to player.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
