I bought the samsng sync A707 on ebay and everything works except can't make or receive calls. says Emergency calls only

I think ur sim is locked try to call customer care

how long its you got it?

Hi, your phone has a network problem.

Might be from the your service provider network or from the board of the phone.

Contact you nearest repair store.

You also check the network setting area in the phone.if it is been tampered with.

maybe your microphone is broken down ? check all settings and if everything is fine, need to go to service

the network is messing up....if the 3G symbol isnt in the top right hand corner then your phone isnt going to work...contact at&t...its probably just your phone...thhey will send another!!

give phone a reset.....or change network settings..

Phone is horrible.... I've been fighting w/ it for a year!!! I get the "emergency calls only" EVERYDAY .... the only way to remove it & get phone working again is to turn off. I have also removed the battery, & cleaned the sims card several times, still no help!! I have already done a warranty exchange and problems are actually worse than before. I never had so many dropped calls or "emergency only" problems with any other phone. I have actually switched phones w/ my daughter & I am using my sims card in her phone (Sony Ericson slider) and have had absolutely no problems at all!!! I put her sims card in my (Sync SGH-A707) and guess what....... yeap... same problems as before!!! Go figure..... My advise is to Go trade it on another phone before your 30 days are up..... this phone is HORRIBLE!!!!

you've got faulty (p.a. power ampli) this can be fix only by professionals go to your nearest service center.... hardware problem..

your lucky the phone turns on - it is water damaged - if you want to fix it try to buy a broken one from ebay to get the parts.
