Nokia 3230 Cannot find WAP.....GPRS.

GPRS setting depend on the network you are using. In Nigeria, MTN GPRS setting is given below For your Nokia phone, the basic setttings are these; GPRS/WAP Settings Account Name = MTN GPRS or any other name IP Address = 10.199.212.2 Port = 9201 (for WAP) or 8080 (for HTML ) Username = web Password = web Access Point Name (APN) = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
So, please contact your service provider to give you your GPRS Setting.

You can download opera mini from opera website. to make it work you should set wap or gprs settings. you can acquire these setting by contacting your network provider and ask them about the internet settings and activation.

You have to contact your operator to receive the GPRS/WAP/MMS settings through a SMS. The phone will then ask you if you want to save those settings when you open the message. Click Yes and you should be OK.

try using setting wizard to configure your gprs setting.hope this'll help.

to connect to the internet & to send & receive mms messages you must activate the GPRS first from your network provider ...The best thing you can do is to contact the customer care of your network provider and ask for the activation of GPRS ...
they will tell you the procedure to activate it ....
they will tell the number to which the message to be sent to recieve the settings ....
so note that down and then follow the procedures told by them ...
you will receive the gprs settings(profile) also ... make sure of the charges with them there will be many plans & then get activated ...
after this you will able to connect to internet ....
if the customer people tell you that your handset is not compatible then you must tell to give the manual settings(includes ip address,APN,etc) so that you can only create the profile and input the information given by the customer care people...

if you want to access GPRS in your mobile you have to ask for its settings from your service provider, once they send the settings save them and you r on..... getting settings wont cost you, hopefully.....

i have a nokia 2630 mobile . when i try to connect the GPRS via IVT BlueSoleil with my pc, then dialup connection could not work , in the mobile "subcribe the packet data first" showing error.


please some body tell me some solution....................

yes you can download any amount of Videos using Gprs.

I think some virus has struck in ur mobile,so it's better to download any antivirus software from http://wap.mobile9.com or do clear cache in your handset by going in main menu --web--then click on options--than select navigation option-- in that there will be clear cache just select it .This will resolve ur issue but incase if it not wrks than just do normal reset on your phone by going in setings option in ur menu--in that  select phone--in that there will be original phone setings....select it & give their code12345 ..it will not effect anything.
