I lost my disk since i recently moved and my computer had problems so i went so they can fix it and they erased everything and now i dont have my disk to install my printer again

dry erase??never heard of this expression before ,if its what i suspect that formatted the hard drive and re-installed the windows programme then yes you will need the original boot up disk to install the sound drivers .

Linux is a free distributable operating system. You can download and burn it on disk like Ubuntu. You can go ahead and install the OS on your computer once again. The installation of Linux is very easy and you can go through the wizard and complete it.

In restoring your computer factory defaults it enables your computer to
set its first default settings and eventually all your data stored in
your computer will automatically erase. So then you purchase a recovery
software and having some problem in installing it. Maybe because not
all software will run in different platform or version of operating
system. So my advice: Please find some computer shop in your area, a
shop with complete equipments in order for you to recover all your data
stored in your computer and let them recover it for you. In that way
you are assured that they can do it fast and effective.
I don't think the problem is with the motherboard. It's likely that you have a corrupt Windows installation and that reinstalling Windows will fix it. Unfortunately reinstalling Windows will also erase any data you have on your hard drive. Do you have access to another drive that has windows installed already? You could try installing the other drive to rule out a faulty motherboard, but I think it's likely a Windows problem.
