If motor is Original Motor. OEM Motor, all engine components stock original.
The Motor is the same year as the car.
If NOT original Motor, than, look on the block housing underneath where exaust Manifold is. Lower Bottom of Block, Motor should have SIN #. Serial Identification #.
It depends, you need to check the ice maker to see if the mold is cracked and letting water leak out. Another more likely scenario is the fill tube where water comes into the machine has ice in it and causing the water to spray out everywhere except the ice maker.
Hi Sal and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
Your model number as posted crosses to several models. The last numbers of the model number are important for you to get the parts that you need. Go to this link: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/modelsearch.aspx?model=TFX27F
Find your exact model number and then click that model number. It will bring up the parts list for your unit. On the left side of the page you will see that the parts list is in sections. Find the section your parts are in and click that section. The parts list for that section will appear on the top of the screen. Clicking on the item number you need will allow you to order the part.
If the parts are not carried or out of stock you can also enter yourmodel number at http://www.searspartsdirect.com
the thump ing sound is probably the rubber mounts under the compressor . they go hard and do not insulate the compressor . . pry the comp up on all four mounts and make sure they are loose and not stuck down if ther are hard and not bouncy .. replace them . if compressor has borken internal motor mounts / there is nothing you can do . but put up with noise ..
You won't find a diagram. You will have series of yellow and white and sometimes gray wires on the outside of the motor housing and often a letter code etched on the housing , indicating the original wiring from years ago, red, blue, yellow, however the newer wiring eliminated those colors. These wires are almost fool proof as they will align with the longest wire at the furthest point,a center one piggy backed , etc however before starting please post back to advise if you have removed the rewind and or motor and if so, did you disturb the motor wiring inside the motor shroud. Please post the original problem you opened the vac for as well and I will try to walk you through this
there is no way to tell if its the original motor. but the vin. will tell you what size engine came with the vehicle.your local gm dealer can tell you which numbers and letters mean what. including whether or not it is actually an SS.
