I purchased an LG43UN7100 just before Christmas 2020. It has used the same aerial connections (ports/cabling) previously used by both Samsung and Philips televisions, which worked perfectly. After twelve days of use, I've now retuned it 4 times and have even followed advice to disable the Quickstart Plus and reset back to initial settings. From an internet search I suspect that this is a common 'feature' of LG televisions :(
All sets use a eprom in some form or another that stores the memory of what up/down channels are programmed into the memory of the set-I will presume no box is used in line with this set for signal---very rare for this problem to even happen---next try when turn on to direct enter a known channel and see if set goes there--then manually add it in the menu---if set does not lose that memory at worst you can manually add every channel one at a time.
Unlock all of the channels on the TV by entering 0711 or 3308. These are
the Jensen factory reset codes that will reset the TV to the original
factory settings. By doing this, you will lose any information that you
have stored in the TV, such as channel labels and schedules. You will
have to program the TV again by going through the entire initial set up.
Is your location prone to power surges or failures? Try plugging your TV into an uninteruptable power supply (UPS) (battery backup and line voltage conditioning). If that doesn't help, I would be suspect the unit has a problem with the internal memory.
Unplug, replug the tv an hour later.Go to ur tv menu reset the Audio setting. The setting will go back to the factory setting, should work solved ur problems. Not than ur Tuner signal board have problems, must change.
get a menu of the tv and enter into a channel searching select auto and press search, automatically your tv will start searching. each signal found will be stored on each one channel.
later just store those channels into the memory of the tv.
Try to see if you have 5volts for your EEPROM. If the voltage is normal try to replace your EEPROM or try to reprogram it. Your EEPROM is corrupted so that's why it will not store data.
