Hi, I have a Hp Compaq nx9030 laptop and i power up and receive message" error loading operating system" I don't have a disk in the drive. When i insert a disk in the drive i receive the same message.
Also, When i power down and back up i hold down (esc) Screen boot menu gives me 4 options i get the same message. I can get to the Bios Utility Screen and don't know what to do. I hear the hard drive but the activity light inst on. Can you help me.
Trying booting into safe mode by pressing F8 while the computer is booting up.
Choose safe mode with the arrow keys and see if it boots that way.

Thank you, however, when i press f8, nothing happens, only same message. i press esc. same message. The drive sees the os disk when it wants. When i can get the disk running. I cant creat a new partition on reinstall on the same partition. I also cant delete the old partiton. It says not enough space. How can i wipe out the hole hard drive lose all and start over??
