This appears to be a communication problem between the YouTube server and cookies. Since deleting all cookies hasn't worked, try reducing the privacy level on your browser (Tools/Internet Options/Privacy tab). Maybe this is set too high. Medium setting should be OK unless you have high security issues.
If that doesn't work try changing to another browser ie if using Firefox then switch to Internet Explorer.
Delete cookies by going to Internet options and try to re-log in the browser. Also try another browser if deleting cookies doesn't work. Some virus prevent you from logging into particular sites. Install a good anti virus software and scan for virus. I use kaspersky anti virus and haven't had any trouble in a long time.

Hi, If "your browser sent a request that this server could
not understand"
and "size of request header field exceeds server
limit", your request
is a bad or oversized cookie. (The same thing is true for
"Error 400").
For some very strange reason, it seems 9 of
10 Bad Request messages implicate Firefox.
Simply delete your "Cookies" and everything
will be okay. Don't worry about erasing them;
nothing bad will happen. You won't lose your
internet browser's "Bookmarks" or
"Favorites".
The worst thing that could happen is you will
be asked to retype your username/password
when you return to YouTube and some other
websites -- that's all.
As you're dumping your cookies, you should
also erase all your "Temporary Internet Files"
and "History". This will render your computer
totally "fresh" in YouTube's eyes. It would be
best if you shutdown / reboot after doing this:
Internet Explorer 6:
> Tools > Internet Options
> Delete Cookies > OK
> Delete Files > OK
> Clear History > Yes
> OK
Peace, B
Internet Explorer 7:
> Tools > Internet Options > Delete...
> Delete files > Yes
> Delete cookies > OK
> Delete history > OK
> Close (browsing history window)
> OK

Wat is er met mijn Youtube aan de hand die speelt momenteel geen videos af? kunnen jullie daar eens na kijken? eerder op de avond werkte hij wel zoiets heb ik bij youtube nog nooit meegemaakt!!
Hello, This problem would arise due to malware or virus in your browser or when you have large cookies. Check you tube with other browsers. Run antivirus on the current browser or if you are using firefox go to TOOLS->OPTIONS->PRIVACY->COOKIES and clear youtube's cookie and try to use youtube. Similarly do it for other browsers.
when I try to see a youtube video, something pops up saying "your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.Size of a request header feild exceeds server limit." I tried the solution that I found on fixya.com but it didn't work. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!! :)
