Hello. I'm using Asrock ConRoe865PE Motherboard with Intel E5200 Processor. When I checked with Intel(R) Processor ID Utility, it stated that both Core1 and Core2 run at 1.19 GHz, meanwhile it's expected to be 2.50 GHz. I've updated last BIOS ver. 1.70 from Asrock website.

The new E52XX runs according to the pc's requirements. see at the particular time you were checking the spec the pc needed only 1.19Ghz of performance to run the programs. hence the there was no need for it to run on full capacity. this is one feature that reduces power consumption.

right click on my computer & see what the CPU spec is on the General tab.

Lan drivers for p35/g31/g33

I recommend that you state your motherboard make/model; usually drivers depend on that and on your operating system.
You may download drivers (usually) from either your System manufacturer's website or/and your motherboard manufacturer's website.

E5200 drivers

Hello the drivers can be downloaded here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+4+Series+Chipset+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+DG41RQ

But first select your windows system.

And heres the ram support:

http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/dg41rq/sb/CS-029920.htm

Your mainboard supports DDR 2 ram, up to 8 gb.
Please select a quality brand, the cheap ones does not last long.

Good luck

What is the maximum ram supported by a Intel pentium dual core E5200 2.5ghz processor ? I have a mobo with 8 Gb ram support max...

It depends on your operating system. If you have a 64bit OS then you'll use the 8GB. If you're using a 32bit OS you'll use about 3.65GB.

Cant install a Q6600 CPU

Your problem is about the BIOS, you need one that would allow it to recognize that processor - get it directly from Asrock and reflash your board.

Compatible upgrade processor for intel pentium

The E5200 would be a nice upgrade. It retails on Newegg.com for 65-69.00 and usually has free shipping. And if you have a compatible motherboard and purchase a nice heatsink, it overclocks very nicely.
