check the house outlet for power, u may have a bad curcuit breaker, also check the appliance terminal block sometimes u can look at it and see if there are any burn marks, or corroded wire connections.

My Maytag Atlantis (MAV7600AWW) just stopped working full of water. Turning off and back on does nothing. Motor is very hot. retightened ground wire and still nothing. What are the most likely causes. ...

it sounds like there is something stuck in the water pump you will need to lay the water outlet on the floor into a shallow vessal to empty it then that the back off locate the water pump and see if you can rotate the cooling propeller if not take the motor housing apart to remove the debris that's preventing it from turning if the motor has not burnt out eric

Mav7600aww no hot water

It sounds like the hot water supply is interrupted. This can be due to at least three potential items which are easily checked.

First, make sure the hot water supply is turned on at the nearest faucet. Second, make sure that any in line filter in the hose supplying the hot water isnt clogged. Finally make sure that the hose itself isnt clogged as hot water can carry alot of chemicals in solution but as the water cools the chemicals come out of solution as solids which will gum things up.

please rate my answer as a fixya! thanks.
