Problem with Genius G-Shot P211 Digital Camera

I have downloaded the drivers for Genius G-Shot P211 Digital Camera and trying to connect camera with pc. However pc is not recognizing the harware connected. I have windows xp.

    Dear Dovi,

    Thanks for your help. The software I have downloaded is compatible with win xp but still it is not working. The error msg I am getting whilw manuaaly adding hardware is error code 10 this device will not work. Anu suggestions?

Check on software's CD you received with the camera whether the drivers on it supported your Win Xp OS.

Description
Thisdriver download for Sony digital cameras will work on most Windowssystems and Cybershot digital cameras. This is a USB driver and in caseyou are not familiar with the general approach to installing drivers,it is important that you follow these steps:
  1. Download the Sony driver
  2. Make sure that the USB cable and digital camera are NOT connected to your PC
  3. Install the digital camera driver
  4. Do not try to plug the camera into your PC until you have finished installing the driver and restarted your computer.
Thisprocess may take an extra few minutes, but it helps prevent problemsand ensure the Sony digital camera driver is properly installed. Afterrestarting, the driver will let you transfer files via USB. Simply plugin your Sony camera and you should be ready to go.
