Clear speed dial/one touch settings

I tried to programme a speed diaL/one touch dial number into my boss's phone and now he can only pick up one out of four outside lines and the number I tried to programme doesn't even work. I have an operating instructions booklet which tells you how to programme but not how to clear settings can anyone tell me how I can clear all speed dial/one touch dial settings before I am sacked?

Thank you for your comments - it sounds like that is what I have done. The system is a Panasonic Digital Super Hybrid System D816 can you help any further with this information?
    I really appreciate your help.

Got myself in such a tiz and tried couple of different ways when 1st time didn't work that I can't remember exactly what happened and in what sequence.
I tried both ways ie speed dial - program 99 ** then 9(for speed dial no)then tel no then auto dial/store then program I also tried lift phone 60 9 (sd no) phone no (and also with 9 to gain access to outside line) # replace phone and one touch store - program 99 co button dial 2 then phone no then auto dial/store then program
I got that frustrated at making such a hash of things I don't know what I did now - I'm usually pretty good with technical stuff (if I have the instructions) but I must have had a 'blonde' moment - sorry
Does all that make any sense to you - I really appreciate the time you're taking to help me
    Regards

There is no way to clear the settings you would have to re-program the correct setting. Did you program one touch speed dial on the line buttons? I do not see how programming a speed dial could effect accessing the CO lines unless you re-programmed the CO line buttons by mistake. If so, you would need to re-program those soft keys to line buttons. The manual you have may not cover this? The phone you have can work on a few different Panasonic phone systems. If you need a more detailed manual you will first need to know which Panasonic phone system you have. The phone part number WILL NOT help you determine which phone system you have. There is a main control unit somewhere (basement, utility closet, etc..)

It's been a while since I programmed one of these and I do not have a user guide (just a the manual) so I'm not sure what directions you followed before. I'm assuming before you had 4 buttons for the 4 phone lines and you have now re-programmed 3 of those buttons trying to set up one touch dialing. At some point did you have to enter a program code 005 then press NEXT, then the port number, then press the button to be programmed, At this point you would enter 0 and the line number. So for button 1 to be line 1 you would enter 01 or 001 if 3 digits are required. Line 2 would be 02 or 002 (after pressing the button for line 2) etc... Any of this making sense?

How do I programme the memory on an answercall sp100 phone?

1. Pick up handset OR press 'handsfree' and wait for dialling tone.
2. Press 'store'.
3. Dial number you wish to put in the memory.
4. Either press 'M1', 'M2' or 'M3' to save as one touch speed dial numbers OR press 'store' again and then press any number between 0 - 9 to save two touch speed dial.
5. Replace handset and you're done.

In future if you wish to dial a one touch number then so long as you remember which button you ascribed to it you can do so with M1, M2 or M3. If it was a two touch number then you will need to press 'memory' followed by whatever number you ascribed between 0 - 9.

Hope this helps!

Programing Speed dial on Walker W1000 Clarity Phones

I solved my problem by trial and error!

Steps to program speed dial on the Walker/Clarity Model W-1000 Touch Tone Sound Amplifier desk set phone w/large number pad.

1. Choose phone number to program including the (#1) digit for a long distance direct dial if
needed.
Write chosen number(s) on a scratch pad as a guide for numbers. Identify numbers with the
names or contact description (ie."Mom's Cell Phone.")

2. Remove hand set receiver from phone.

3. Press "memory set" button ONCE on the phone located uder the receiver on the desk set.

4. Enter phone number chosen, including area codes and long distance prefixes if needed!

5. Locate the speed dial position button you want for that number...(located adjacent to
tag/pad slot for name and/or phone number to be written after entering.

6. Press the speed dial position button (ONCE). Then replace receiver back in craddle.

7. Try out speed/dial program. Pick up receiver, push speed dial button(position) listen to see if
correct phone number is contacted. Once established as correct; program additional speed dial
numbers: ie family, business, as needed.
8. DO NOT TRY TO PROGRAM THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY 911 NUMBER! Keep this in your
own memory!
9. If you make a mistake while entering a phone number: Stop, Hang up phone and start all over
again in the procedure sequence.

10. Remove white "description pad with slots for names or numbers) from underneath clear
plastic cover.(use a paper clip end to lift up plastic cover). Write name/description for that number
on white pad(ie. "Mom's Cell") Use a PENCIL FOR DESCRIPTIONS!!

11. TO SAVE TIME AND INCONVENIENCE TO PERSONS/BUSINESSES OF HAVING TO
ANSWER YOUR CALLS; CHOOSE A AUTOMATED ANSWERING NUMBER (USUALLY A
BUSINESS ANSWERING AUTOMATED SERVICE (IE. LARGE INSTITUTIONAL PHONE
NUMBER THAT HAS A MENU PROMPT usually a AT&T 800 # will have a prompt menu
USE this procedure to see if you program correctly then once you know how; go back and re-
enter all the numbers that you actually want on your speed dial settings.

Pre-set dial numbers

Pick up the handset / handsfree button, hit the SET/SAVE key, punch in the entire phone number you wish to program to speed-dial, hit the SET/SAVE key again, hit the speed dial key you want to save to (0-9). To actually use the speed-dial key once set, you have to pick up the handset / handsfree, hit the AC key followed by your speed dial (0-9) I know this seems unusual and you have to do it relatively quick, but it's the only way that works properly on this phone unit. Cheers!
