I bought a new Sony NWZ-B133F/BCE Walkman. When I plugged it to the USB the drivers got properly installed, but the player does not show as a removable device or any other device in My Computer. Tried installing and reinstalling the drivers with no success. My PC runs on WinXP SP2. Please help me out on this soon.

Hi dinesh,
Dont worry, this model will not appear in My computer as a removable device,
yo have to use the Windows media player or Itunes to upload music to it same like apple ipod.
Connect your mp3player to computer, open the Windows media player , on the left side you will find task bar of media player( if it is hidden , click on the arrow to unhide it). and select the tab "copy to cd or Device". On the right side top select your device from the drop down list. drag and drop your music files to the play list and click on the copy button on the right top on the window, it will start copying wait for finish and close media player and unplug our mp3 player. thats it.
Or you can instal Windows Maedia Player 11. You will be able to see walkman in Windows Explorer after that.
I have one sony music player(NWZ-N133F).cannot able to switch on and it is not detected by pc.what i do?
I have one sony music player(NWZ-N133F).cannot able to switch on and it is not detected by pc.what i do
Hello,
i have sony walkman nwz-b135 [/contents/audio/mp3.php3 mp3]. once i was transfering music files on mp3, computer stopped and said that its not able to move file because the equipment is off or not responding. Since that moment my mp3 is playing all music files, but when i connect it to computer, computer shows that there is no file in my music folder.how is it possible to play all files normally, and not to be shown in computer? i cant even delete some files or transfer new songs.and there is no such option in mp3 itown, only by computer it is done.but how, if there is empty window????? SOS!
mp3 is connected to computer and it opens the folders, but they are empty, when they are not.
Download the file NWZ-B130-V1-01.exe from Sony support web sites. Be warned, the site is eventually in S. America and you may have to understand a little Spanish. I don't!! I simply blundered my way through.
The file actually contain the device driver as well as the version updater.
Once you download it, run the file. The program will run and eventually tell you to insert your hardware. This is actually the version updater part of the software. Ignore it and exit the program because the driver is already installed.
You can verify it by going into Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager to see if it's there.
You can now insert your Sony NWZ-B133f into your USB port and it will be detected.
Good luck
Go to Device Manager, select walkman, click update driver, select Browse My Computer, then Manually Select Device, instead of Walkman USB Device, choose USB Mass Storage Device. Let it install drivers and bam, you have a drive letter.
