so working on super old 2007 PC monitors. and no PC connected."? it is NOT ANY LED BACK LAMP monitor here.
came new with XP PC's.
the monitos all good to sleep mode if no PC vidoeo connected.
in the usa, even by law, (energy star)
how ever lacking a PC, the screen will show "no signal entering sleep mode"
VGA monitor.
LED = blue on, amber sleep, LED out, oFF.
NO 1080P mode allowed, (so common now) <<<< big clue here.
set the PC to 1024 x 768 (to test ) 60Hz.
using a flash light (torch) tool,.
turn on Monitor, see blue LED
point flash light to screen, see data, now, on sceen in the beam
now you now CCFL backlamps are dead. as most are this old.

in my shop I have VGA signal generator to maKE WORK EASY.

The display or wireing may be broken if everything else is working fine.

with the guide of the service manual you can replace the screen if it is the only problem in the device.

Can anyone give me Toshiba e studio 355 firmware file? or a download link?

there will be no service manual as thompson does not provide them.-Its a throwaway set.

It's possible there's something wrong with the power supplied to the display or the LEDs in the TV. Usually these things can't be fixed without taking it to a brand service center.

Please verify the power option setting present in 'control pannel' option once. If you have selected to turn off the power supply after 10mins, (once the system is in idle state) then the SMPS will stop supplying power.

some of possibilities are:

a) a burnt out LED (light emmiting diode) inside the display (could be tricky or difficult to change it) or a faulty LED power supply line

b) if the light source is an electroluminescent panel, possibly the panel itself or the power supply is faulty (electroluminescent panels use an elevated voltage power supply which is in the shape of a small box somewhere inside the housing, with two wires going to the panel - it is also possible that the power supply is not in the form of a box but is in fact an integral part of the circuitry).

c) a loose wire contact - check the connectors for any broken wires, oxidation on contacts or loose solder points for connectors on the circuit board

Anyway, these are just possibilities so the trouble may as well be somewhere else in the system.

you might not have it in a ups power back up plug.

check for any fuse blown or power supply operation.
give mfg and model to rearch for a diagram on web.
