Hey quick question... i have a siemens speedstream 4200 and when i connect it to my xbox 360 it says no connection so i test my connection it says that i have to change my mtu to 1350 or higher HELP!!!!!!
You need a Router!!!!
Log into modem using 192.168.2.1 in your browser and go to modem utility through browser. then select last option on left of utility screen on left and choose reset. this will reset modem to factory settings. then call microsoft support there is a toll free support number in yellowpages.ca. ask them to help you setup pppoe connection in the xbox. you can set the mtu setting there also to 1492 for dsl broadband and if on cable use 1500

Hey, I am having the same problem. I have a Speedstream 4200 Modem also, and I can't connect my MTU, and I know I need to change the MTU settings in my modem, I just don't know how. I've contacted my internet service provider, but they aren't offering any help! Please help me out!
