Kenmore model 2539280412 upright freezer alarm keeps going off

Temp alarm keeps going off I reset and it still goes off, water going on the floor but food seems to still be frozen

    Moved freezer a few feet to another location. Now it is leaking water on floor but the inside the food is still frozen. Do I need to purchase a new freezer?

Might have a defrost problem check to see if it is building up with on the back panel if it is you need a defrost timer or limiter or heater or fan

The light may be staying on and creating heat, or the unit thinks the door is still open.

Or the door seal is worn and is letting cold out.

Or

It needs gas.

Have you put a thermometer inside to check the temperature? It should be 0'F +/- 2'.

I can't turn my Kenmore upright freezer on.
Try disconnecting power for about 30 seconds, and then restore power. This will reboot the control and maybe restart.

Best thing to do first is get a thermometer to be sure the temperature is correct. Items still freeze at higher temperatures. If you have ice cream and it is soft, then you have a temp problem.

FREEZER ALARM WILL NOT SHUT OFF
Use a freezer thermometer and tell me the actual temperature. Or at least store some ice cream and see if it stays brick hard. Unless I have some idea of the actual temp I can't tell if defective freezer or alarm

you have a refrigeration issue partner let her go 16 yrs. is good service you can replace it for 3 to 5 hundred the repair will be that IF you can find someone with the r-12. don't go for a top it off and go deal the food you lose is to expensive for that to be economical.

What is the temp in the freezer, sounds like temp is to low..no water should be coming out of freezer, sounds like may be defrosting Need to check the temp to make sure its cold enough.. thats what that alarm is for
