when you bought a brand new printer but somehow you did not get a printer setup disk, it could be little hard to find a correct driver for canon printer. if you are not tech friendly.
because there are so many fake website. which seems like canon downloading website, while actually they are not the correct one.
when you will try to download the software from them, they will redirect you to some other website or they will download the incorrect or outdated version of driver.

3. Scroll down to the software selection and download Easy Photo Print .

I had HP 1610 for a couple of years too. I upgraded to Windows Vista and All hell broke lose. My scanner does not work I barley can print. What happen. I've been cursed my Windows Vista.

Part of the problem is likely either bad values in the registry or insufficient privileges in part of the registry. Delete anything in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Canon folder, and make sure you have permissions in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ before attempting a reinstall. You might also run a program like Jouni Vuorio's RegCleaner. If you can't get it to work, I'll buy the Axis 1610 off you ... I've been looking for one, but they're no longer available.
